Me Like Bees/The Realm collab:: River Divides video release

Here it is, guys... my very first director of photography credit, for the music video to "the River Divides", performed by indie rock band Me Like Bees. This track (one of my favorites yet from the band) is the official theme song for Image Comics' the Realm, co-created by comic by artist and friend Jeremy Haun.

Everything you see and hear in this is homegrown in little ol' Joplin Missouri, created by my friends and my neighbors. Jeremy directed, the Bees are a local band (and often get looks of surprise when they say so), and my buddy Derek Hammeke- whom we pulled in for his editing prowess- is also a Joplin guy.

This is very satisfying to me, after sometimes feeling about my hometown what Jesus surely must have felt when questioned a couple of millennium ago... "what good can come from there?"

Enough talk. Enjoy the video, and let me know what you think as I begin my adventures into the land of moving pictures...

Produced & Directed by Jeremy Haun
Director of Photography: Mark Neuenschwander
Additional footage: Derek Hammeke
Editing & Color Grading: Derek Hammeke

I'd be amiss if I didn't also show off a couple of new pics that accompanied the project, also captured by yours truly:
