OZARK Christian College:: life on campus

It's always a fun day for a commercial photographer when the client turns over 20 student models and tells me to just go shoot for a couple of hours. 

We descended on OCC's Joplin, MO campus- including their student center, classroom and library- with 2 rules for our models:

1. act natural
2. work  "Wonder Woman" into some shots, request of OCC Marketing director Amy...

The first rule worked out pretty well. Most of the time, anyway...

#2 worked so well that I had to be careful to remember to take our superhero OUT of the shot sometimes... can you spot her?

The rest of the shoot was spreading students out, telling them to do what they would normally do, then re-configuring and directing and getting them loosened up so I could get the best shots. It's funny how natural people in their natural setting can be the exact opposite of natural when you point a camera at them... like forgetting how to walk across a library...
