Timeless 3D:: real-experience photography for a new brand

This is Todd. Todd's an idea man. And he approached me a few months ago with a dandy one (idea, that is).

We're now officially in the age of accessible 3D printing, and Todd has teamed up with scanning mastermind Daniel to produce figurines of real life folks. They're focusing on sports teams, but also including the opportunity for a scan of any great milestone for any age at all. 

Todd decided to showcase the new venture through scanning & reveal parties, during which friends from different teams came in to have themselves scanned in their favorite poses and then returned a couple of weeks later for the big figurine reveal. 

The scanning process is pretty cool- here's Daniel, scanning in T-rexes & baseball players alike...
 

I also got to work with my good buddy Derek on this project, who captured the video side of things. He's pretty much just there to make my camera look tiny next to his ginormous rig. That's ok. His is bigger. I can accept it.
